Important tax documents, such as W-2s and 1099s cannot be forwarded by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The USPS updates and maintains a CASS Certification System with the most current address for every individual to ensure proper receipt of mail.
Since Aatrix Software, Inc. is a bulk filer, we are required by the USPS to mail these tax documents to the current address they have on file within the CASS system.
You may encounter a situation where the employee has moved, but has not notified you of the new address. In this circumstance, the mailing address on the outside of the document will be changed to the most current address provided by the USPS.
